What to Expect
The N.E.W Venture program is an intensive training program that will be delivered in multiple phases from September 2025 to June 2026* (does not include the Incubation phase)
Participants will be expected to:
- Attend 2 virtual training sessions per week (2hrs/per session) from September 2025 – June 2026
- Maintain regular attendance; attendance will be taken at each session
- Actively engage in the program sessions including participation in class discussion and completion of assignments
- Have access to a stable internet connection for participating in the virtual classroom sessions
- Commit to 10+ hours a week including class session & assignments starting September 2025
Due to the large interest in our program we have reached the maximum number of applications in Ontario. We are no longer accepting applications in Ontario. Applications remain open for residents of Quebec.
Our Application Process
Step 1
Application
Submit your application by clicking on the “apply now” link on this page. The application form will help us ensure you meet the eligibility criteria as well as your readiness for this program.
Step 2
Assignment
If you meet all of the eligibility criteria you will be invited to submit a written assignment to further measure your business acumen and overall aptitude for this program.
Step 3
Interview
The final stage of the application process consists of a 15 minute interview with one of our program staff to address any outstanding questions or concerns and provide you with the opportunity to ask questions.
Step 4
Acceptance
If you have successfully completed all of the steps in the application process you will receive an Acceptance email from us along with a Letter of Commitment outlining the details of what to expect in the program.

In this fist stage, applicants are asked to complete a comprehensive application form to ensure you meet the eligibility requirements as well as assess your skills, experience and business idea as it relates to this program.
Step 2
Assignment & Needs Assessment
For those that make it past the initial screening stage, you will be invited to submit a written assignment to further measure your business acumen and overall aptitude for entrepreneurship.
You will also be asked to complete a needs assessment that allows us to understand and where possible, make available specific services to support your success in the program.
Step 3

The final stage of the application process is comprised of a 15 minute interview with one of our program staff to address any outstanding questions or concerns and provide you with the opportunity to ask questions and understand next steps.
