Mentorship Opportunity
The N.E.W Venture Program is currently recruiting Mentors for our upcoming fall cohort. N.E.W Venture is dedicated to supporting newcomer and refugee women in Canada by helping them develop the skills and network necessary to launch or grow their businesses. Our participants come from diverse backgrounds and have often overcome significant challenges to start a new life here.
Our participants are largely skilled professionals seeking a new path to economic independence through entrepreneurship. Their business ideas span a variety of fields, including food, fashion, professional services, publishing, and more.
As a mentor in our program, you will have the opportunity to work one-on-one with a N.E.W Venture participant. We are looking for mentors who can commit to 2 hours of mentorship per month for 6 months (from October 2024 to March 2025) to provide guidance, support, and help our participants expand their network and learn what it’s like to do business in Canada.
